Showcasing the best of Argentina’s trekking capital, El Chaltén, this 3-day Fitz Roy Loop connects the region’s most iconic trails with hidden gems for a stunning circuit around the Fitz Roy massif! Starting in town and ending at the nearby Río Eléctrico Bridge, the route visits Laguna Torre, Laguna de los Tres, and the secluded Laguna Pollone, with time to enjoy sunrise views, glacial lakes, and dramatic backdrops of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
This route is based on my custom multi-day route (developed after 3 trips to El Chaltén) and is perfect for beginner OR experienced hikers who want to see everything in a single loop!
